Professor of Medicine, UCLA; Director, Basic and Translational Pancreas Research, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; President of the American Pancreatic Association from 2013-2014;  He is co-lead of the Consortium to Study Chronic Pancreatitis, Diabetes, and Pancreatic Cancer.

Chief Editor for Frontiers in Gastrointestinal Sciences, past Associate Editor for the American Journal of Physiology, Author of over 500 publications, including The Exocrene Pancreas, and 8 patents. He led the research that resulted in Phyteau’s patents and medical approach to diabetes and obesity.  Dr. Pandol received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Pancreatic Association.

Hongxiang Hui, M.D., Ph.D.

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Hui is an expert on metabolic diseases, oncology, wellness and longevity. He is Director and Professor of the International Metabolic Medicine Center at China Southern Medical University in Guangzhou and Associate Professor at the UCLA Medical School. ; He was also an early pioneer of GLP-1 research in China, studying the hormone for over 25 years.

Dr. Hui serves as Director and Officer on multiple medical organizations, and National institutions including, Medical Director, Nutrapas. Los Angeles; Medical Advisor, Proactiff Digital Healthcare Inc.; Director, Swiss Prestige International Medical Center, Guangzhou; Chief Scientific Officer, China Health Promotion Foundation, Beijing. He has published over 250 papers and has 13 patents on metabolism and cancer and is Associate Editor of Pancreas and of Frontiers in Gastrointestinal Science. and Executive Chairman of scientific advisory board of The Pacific-Asia Precision Medicine Forum.

Pedro Tetteroo, Ph.D.

Former General Manager and VP, Centocor (Johnson & Johnson), the Netherlands. Pedro was instrumental is transforming Centocor from a start-up biotech company to a full commercial – FDA approved – production and supply chain organization, including acquisition by Johnson & Johnson. He was responsible for bringing the blockbuster drug, Remicade, to market.
